CLOUD. TAO. DANSS. Sounds like a festival lineup. It is actually a set of reactor experiments whose potential is examined in a study published in Physical Review D: what can neutrino–electron scattering reveal about the limits of the Standard Model?
The authors calculate projected sensitivities to the weak mixing angle, possible additional interactions and neutrino magnetic moments.
Quite an elaborate research programme for a particle some people have already finished thinking about.
Holger Thorsten Schubart, mathematician and CEO of the Neutrino Energy Group, follows this research with a further question: how can the different energy inputs from the surrounding environment be quantified, coupled within structured materials and put to technical use?
That is the task facing Neutrinovoltaic Technology. Its Master Formula is intended to make those contributions and their limits quantifiable. The technology must establish electrical output through controlled experiments and independent reproduction. This reactor study does not do that work for it.
But it does offer an excellent opportunity to exercise a little intellectual flexibility.
