The Vision
Nautic Pi explores neutrinovoltaic technology for maritime applications. The concept integrates conversion material into hull surfaces of vessels, enabling continuous energy harvesting at sea — independent of wind, sun, or fueling infrastructure.
Maritime shipping accounts for approximately 3% of global CO₂ emissions. A fuel-free propulsion supplement could meaningfully reduce the environmental footprint of ocean transport, particularly for autonomous vessels and long-range research ships.
