The principle reaches further than the founder and is stated without hedging - no individual, no artificial intelligence system, no server, no laboratory, no site and no single jurisdiction is meant to be structurally indispensable. Each can be lost, replaced, superseded or rebuilt without the mission ending with it.
That is a statement about redundancy, not about exemption, and the safeguard attached to it is equally explicit: continuity shall be achieved through redundancy, distributed knowledge, succession, independent verification, secure preservation and institutional resilience, never through the removal of lawful human oversight or safety controls. Mission continuity and continuity of control are not the same thing. What must endure is the mission and its knowledge, not autonomous control.
